For over 10 years we have been one of the largest suppliers of black salves. Recently the FDA has undertook a rigorous stand regarding black salves and the possible safety hazard of all black salves. Not all black salves are created equal and that is what needs to be resolved.
There have been black salves sold that are extremely dangerous to the point of burning and damaging skin tissue and leaving serious and horrible scars. In order for a black salve to be available to the public, the safety issue must be addressed. We have therefore addressed this issue and can provide the FDA with evidence as to what ingredient in black salve seriously damages the skin.
The other aspect of the process is to provide research and documentation as to the results of using our black salve. The research pertaining to our black salve is presently being conducted by independent agencies, medical specialists and research facilities. As soon as the research is completed it will be submitted to the FDA for evaluation.
We apologize for this inconvenience but it is necessary for public safety. Our research will be for two forms of black salve, over the counter strength and a practitioner strength. We appreciate your patience in this matter and do hope the black salves will be available to the public in the near future.
One of the concerns by the FDA is which ingredient actually causes the damage to the skin. That issue has been addressed and numerous documentation and physical evidence demonstrates that zinc chloride causes the damage to the skin. It boils down to what amount of zinc chloride can be used without causing damage to the skin. The FDA asserts that the herbs bloodroot and graviola are what causes the damage to the skin, presently we have documents that prove that is not accurate. Here is a simple test. Take two glass jars, put bloodroot and graviola in one jar and zinc chloride in the other, add water or DMSO to each and hold them in your hand. Here is a bit of advice, do it over a sink, the zinc chloride will get hot, very very hot to the point of smoking and possibly burning your hand if held to long. As for the jar with bloodroot and gravola, take a seat, it will never get hot or even get warm. Think of how your skin and eyes feel when you get in a swimming pool that has to much chlorine, they burn. Every black salve that has been reported of damaging the skin or causing scars are all water based and they all have over 60% zinc chloride. Our black salve formulas are made with oils, they are the only black salves made with oils.
It is our goal to submit our black salve to the FDA before the end of 2011.
